We had a full day Buenos Aires airport customs yesterday releasing Boris, Sheila and Ludwig from their creates. 100% intact - great job by Motofreight. Very honoured to have been provided the banner used by Deafblind Scotland to take on our Long Way Up adventure. Pictured with Bob Nolan - Chair of board, Stephen Joyce and John - who used to ride a Norton!, all are Deaf blind and a true inspiration. Bob has cycled the length of the UK on a tandem, Stephen was the first Deafblind person to climb Kilimanjaro and recently completed the 3 peaks in the UK in under 36 hours! We have big shoes to follow. We visited STV Glasgow studios yesterday to tell our story and promote Deafblind Scotland.
Here is the link (available for a limited time) Roddy at Motofreight has confirmed receipt of the bikes in Egham (near LHR). He is returning our keys as planned and our puncture repair kits which are classed as hazardous. He will take photo's of the bikes as he crates them. Again communication from and reliability of Motofreight has been great.
Whoa were a third of the way there Whoa living on a prayer Thanks to all for your kind donations. If you have not donated, please watch the DeafBlind Scotland video and decide |
